Where exactly is the villa located?

The villa is located on the Windsor Hills resort which is less than a mile of US-192 on Old Lake Wilson Road (545) See Google map on location tab. Once you have fully paid for your booking and approximately 2 weeks prior to arrival we will provide you with a 'Welcome guide' containing lots of useful information including the villa's address, directions to it from your arriving airport and how to access the property.

How many people can stay in the villa?

The maximum is 11. There are 2 master bedrooms, 2 queen bedrooms all with double beds, plus one twin room with separate twin beds. We also have one spare bedroom which comes with a single twin bed; this spare room is also used as a study by our guests. (See Villa Facilities tab).

Is smoking permitted in the villa?

Sorry but smoking is not permitted in any part of the villa with the exception of the pool deck area. Please read our Terms & Conditions for further details.

Are pets allowed to stay at the villa?

Is the villa air-conditioned?

Yes the villa is fully air-conditioned and climate controlled. The Games room is also fully air-conditioned.

How do we gain access to the villa?

Our villa is fitted with a very modern electronic door-locking system that requires a unique PIN number (guests choose user friendly number) for your extra convenience and added safety.

Are there any facilities in the villa for infants & babies?

Yes for your convenience the villa is equipped with a travel cot, high chair, stair gate, steriliser, bottle warmer and plastic crockery.

Who maintains our villa?

Our dedicated Management Company is Magical Vacation Homes; who are a well established professional management company, they ensure the villa is maintained to the highest standards. Their services include housekeeping on your departure, weekly pool care, and general maintenance of the villa. They are also on-hand from their office located locally to assist you during your stay in the unlikely event that you have a problem at our villa.

What do we do if we have a problem when we arrive or during our stay or something doesn't work?

We always check our Villa before guests arrive so we seldom come across this type of situation. However in the unfortunate event that you need to contact someone call the management company. They are based locally and will sort things out. The call out number is 24 hour - but we would ask that calls in the middle of the night are for real emergencies only.

Is the Villa cleaned daily?

No; we provide a professionally cleaned villa on your arrival and then cleaned on the day that you depart; we expect our guests to keep the villa clean and tidy during your stay as you would your own home. Standard toiletries will be provided when you arrive, however it's the responsibility of the guests if you require more.

Does the villa have a home laundry?

Yes; it has a fully equipped utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer, plus iron and ironing board. You just need to supply your own washing detergents.

Do we need to bring towels or linens?

No guests do not require towels and bed linen, towels are provided in every bathroom and all bed linens are provided as well as bed covers and blankets. However we do ask that towels are not removed from the villa and therefore you will need your own beach towels if you intend to visit local water parks or beaches.

Does the Villa have full kitchen facilities to allow home cooking?

Yes we have full kitchen facilities; the kitchen is fitted with all major appliances and an adequate supply of cooking utensils, dishes and cutlery to satisfy the needs of the number of people in the villa. (See Villa facilities tab for further details).

Does the villa have a telephone?

The villa has a telephone and we offer free local, national and international calls, for contacting relatives and loved ones back home.

Can I access the internet within the villa?

The villa has high speed wireless (Wi-Fi) DSL (broadband) access, so you if you have a laptop PC then bring it along and you can connect to our network for free. If you do not a have a PC, then you can use the villa's desktop computer which features a LCD screen, 13 in 1 media card reader, CD/DVD rewriter, MS Office and audio conferencing via MSN messenger. There are no usage or download limits on the service so you can use it to copy your digital photos to CD or to a online website such as Flickr or Photobucket, keep in touch with family and friends or perhaps check information on the local attractions. * Please note that we do request a itemised bill from our ISP which lists all websites visited anyone thought to be abusing our internet service by visiting explicit or illegal websites may face criminal charges, so please use responsibly. What entertainment facilities does the villa have?

In the family room there is a large 47” High Definition LCD television with a 90+ channel cable service, multi-region DVD/Home theatre system which also plays CD's, it also has a USB connection so you can plug and play mp3's from you iPod or MP3 player. In addition all bedrooms have LCD televisions connected to the cable network and DVD CD/radio stereo player. The villa is also equipped with an office which houses a desktop computer, printer, scanner and a telephone/fax machine.

Does the villa have a games room?

Yes the villa does have a games room; If you want some extra fun after a day at the parks, then why not spend some family-fun time together in the separate air conditioned games room, complete with 8ft slate pool table, Air hockey and foosball games to enjoy.

How far is our villa from the resort clubhouse and lagoon / pool area?

Our villa is about 8 minutes walk to the resort clubhouse and pool area

Is the private pool and spa heated?

During the summer months the pool and spa will be warm enough for most people without the need for supplementary heating. However, it has an electric heating system which is available at an additional cost and should be requested at the time of booking so that it is switched on in advance of your arrival to allow the water warm up to around 30°C/82°F.

When would you recommend pool heat?

Pool heat will probably be required in the winter months; late October through to early April.

What is the additional cost for pool and spa heat?

Pool and Spa heat is $30 per day; and should be requested at the time of booking the minimum duration that you can have the supplementary heating is for 3 days. It takes a minimum of 24 hours for the pool to heat up.

Why is there a screen over the pool area?

The screen is made from a fine mesh and is there to stop insects, debris and the Florida wildlife from reaching you and the pool. The enclosure also helps by blocking some of the sun's direct heat while letting the breeze blow through making it cooler and more comfortable.

What features does the pool area have to safeguard young children?

The villa's pool and extended deck area is fitted with two safety features:

Safety fence – a mesh fence runs the entire width of the deck between the pool and patio door to protect children from accessing the pool. If you do not wish to use this safety device then at your own and your party's risk you are permitted to roll it back to each side of the deck area.

Exit door alarm – is fitted to the slider door that leads to the pool area and is installed for your children's safety. The alarm will sound within a few seconds of the door being opened unless a reset button situated at high level is pressed.

Please note these devices are not a substitute to ensuring that all young children and non–swimmers are supervised at all times. Remember that it is safer to swim with someone else rather than alone.

Does the villa have BBQ facilities?

Sorry but No we do not supply BBQ facilities; and BBQ are not allowed during your stay in the villa..
